Agroforestry

Other than Oil Palm, TLC and Karas, the implementation of Agroforestry by the Company has also created a more diverse, productive and sustainable land-use systems. The activities include various livestocks and bee farming, intercropping of tropical fruits such as watermelon, mango, dragon fruit and etc. This has attracted many government bodies, private sectors and individuals to further explore and understand the importance of Agroforestry in Malaysia.

In view that the future needs is to merge the Green Economy, Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility as a holistic innovation, another expansion plan of Aramijaya is to venture into agro-tourism by promoting forest campsite not only for school children but also corporate organizations, allowing them to have a close connection with nature and providing them a learning experience through team-building activities, which is in line with the Company’s CSR program.
